I'll give mac credit for one thing, his teams play hard every game and don't give up ...they could of pack it in weeks ago.

when you say they could pack it in weeks ago what do you mean? Do you mean they could have quit the team? I mean it's sports every team at every level is still going to compete, it's human nature to "want to win". This team is still bad.

. This tells you everything you need to know about our program. We have fallen so far that we give praise to a team that is 2-10 in the SEC that “ plays hard”. Maybe while we watch the other SEC teams play in March Madness we can get our team some participation trophies

They looked like they had given up during that stretch when Texas beat us by 30 or whatever and Georgia killed us too. The odd thing is that was was after they played Bama pretty tight and did decent against Auburn.

It was nice to see them get a W. The results just aren't there though to continue on with McMahon.

Bama was without their all American Mark Sears, and barn sleep walked through a “road game” at our place. The outcome of both was never ever in doubt.

Honestly , having to finish the game with only guards playing. We are still down quality players. He needs at least 2-3 more top players with some height and athletic abilty .

Our team program is no where close to Auburn or Alabama'a quailty and we almost beat bama .

The guy can coach.

Hes definitely mismanaged his recruiting and roster to compete in the SEC ...MM seems to want to "develop players " but that's not going to work in the SEC with NIL and transfer portal. Don't know why he didn't figure that out after year 1

To me, his 2-10 conference record is all we need to know. I think firing him is justifiable this year, but if not this year, next year is tourney or bust. I think that's a fair expectation--he would have been given enough time here.

If you keep him you’re just going to set yourself back longer and cost yourself more money.

Mcloser can't get any of this figured out, how to recruite the right players, how to coach winning basketball, and it's been 3 years! I know give him another year he just needs some time to figure it out.

Totally agree...his personality is def not a fit for what this program needs.

You have been radicalized by the echo chamber. I hope you don’t treat people in the real world this way. Someone says at least they play hard on a message board and you jump that is what’s wrong with the program. Nobody said I do t care if they win as long as they play hard.

It’s nice to see the team win one, but the fact remains McMahon is not the coach LSU needs to compete in the SEC. They won last night because of Carter’s heroics.
