Great player in Saints history… but his career with Saints should be terminated.

For majority of his prime, he actually took paycuts relative to his peers despite being a top 5 de for majority of the 2010s

For some reason, people on here love Chase Young and hate Cam Jordan when Jordan is just as good.
Young played 63% of the snaps and had 5.5 sacks and 31 tackles. Cam only played 48% of the snaps and had 4 sacks and 34 tackles. And a lot of that time Jordan was rotating in at DT.
Good God I hope we get a pass rusher in the draft!

Cam Jordan is washed. But hey you know how the face painters love their vets!! Willing to sabotage an entire franchise to prove how “loyal” we are to 35 year olds that we’ve already given millions of dollars to

This is all true, but not at the tune of being having the 15th highest cap hit at just over $20M for edge rushers in 2025, and the 25th highest cash spent with a $12.5M salary.
Next problem is the $15M cap hit in 2026 the team is staring down the barrel at due to void years
