It Depends… how far out has Loomis extended his contract and Fukked us ?

Great player in Saints history… but his career with Saints should be terminated.

Maybe it's me, but I'm WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more concerned about getting rid of Derek Carr than I am with Cam Jordan.

Several players need to be culled to address the salary cap

6 years ago he had 15.5 sacks. 4 years ago he had 12.5. Jordan fell off a cliff 2 years ago and he just doesn’t have it anymore.

You can’t cut Carr without extending Jordan and many others.

Yeah that's a misinformed take.

For majority of his prime, he actually took paycuts relative to his peers despite being a top 5 de for majority of the 2010s

But he is still a solid player to have as a backup. He is great to have around in the locker room with him rubbing off on the younger players with his charisma and knowledge. He has been a great player for most of his career, and a solid citizen as well with him never getting in trouble off the field. So, he deserves to retire a Saint.

For some reason, people on here love Chase Young and hate Cam Jordan when Jordan is just as good.

Young played 63% of the snaps and had 5.5 sacks and 31 tackles. Cam only played 48% of the snaps and had 4 sacks and 34 tackles. And a lot of that time Jordan was rotating in at DT.

Good God I hope we get a pass rusher in the draft!

One contract is not like the other.
And yes. We need a D line that can pressure.

Thank you. Glad you're back.
PS
Isn't Cams guaranteed money twice that of Chase?

Cam Jordan is washed. But hey you know how the face painters love their vets!! Willing to sabotage an entire franchise to prove how “loyal” we are to 35 year olds that we’ve already given millions of dollars to

This is all true, but not at the tune of being having the 15th highest cap hit at just over $20M for edge rushers in 2025, and the 25th highest cash spent with a $12.5M salary.

Next problem is the $15M cap hit in 2026 the team is staring down the barrel at due to void years
