LOL, I saw a little of the game today and yes, it did not look like typical LSU offense. I saw moving without the ball, screens away from the ball, and good spacing and floor balance. It was beautiful.

Heya Meauxjeaux. So do you really think we are for real this year? I did enjoy the Ole Miss game. We played really well on defense although Mr. Joe Dean Jr. kept saying how BAD Ole Miss was (of which to some degree I agree with him).
Our defense seems to be more consistent then our shooting.
So far I am excited.

I had given up watching this team after the mediocre offense I saw against WSU and Bama, but now I might have to watch them again. To quote Al Pacino, "Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!"

At this point I would say we are a solid Top 40 team with the capability to play up to a the level of a Top 20 team when we play hard and smart.
A solid NIT team, with the potential to make the NCAAs.

No, and I haven't been a real LSU basketball fan since Chris Jackson left for the NBA. Given the state of college basketball today, I doubt I'll ever be a fan again, but if the team is doing things I like and showing a lot of heart like Dale's teams from the 80's used to do, then I'll watch.

Honestly, I don't pay enough attention to the NBA to even have an informed opinion. I just like to watch the 2nd half of NBA Finals games whenever a team I like makes it.
