Prayers for my Mom & Family *UPDATE*

Please keep my family, especially my Mom, in your prayers. The cancer spread, and she has gone downhill quickly. She is now unresponsive and they have given her days.
I am so blessed that my husband & I will be able to visit her and my Dad tomorrow, at their home.
I fully believe that she will be able to hear me tell that she is the bravest person I have ever met, fearless, even in the face of cancer.
That I am so grateful for her love, kindness & generosity. That her love of animals showed her softer side.
How her strength meant she never backed down to a challenge.
I love you, Mom. Hang on for me, please, I'll be there soon...

Praying for a miracle.
I wish. She is 64. It began as stomach cancer and they removed that and various other portions of organs. Her esophagus was tied directly to her intestines, so she lost weight rapidly. She did one round of chemo/radiation and said "No thanks". The cancer spread to her brain and who knows where else. I asked her if she was scared and in her usual defiant way, said "Of course not". I just hope that in her morphine sleep she is dreaming of good memories and of salvation. She was a faithful woman. Thanks everyone. Typing it out helps.

Praying for y’all. I know your heart will be breaking, but there can be peace in those moments, too.

I lost my Dad to liver cancer this past November. Put him on hospice Halloween and he passed November 6. It was tough seeing him like that for 6 days.
Play music that she likes. Stay by her side and talk to her, even if it’s one-way dialogue. And remember her when she was healthy, not sick. That’s the hardest part. Praying for the soul of your mother and may you find peace in her last days.
