Do you cut Carr and go after Joe Milton? I personally think it’d be a fun move and save money. Thoughts?

Cutting Carr saves 1.5 Million this year. Where would you find the money to pay Milton and what draft capital are you willing to give up for a rookie QB with a 1 game professional track record?

Milton’s salary is 1m for the next three years, send Carr and a fifth round pick (Milton was drafted in the sixth). I think I make that move. Carr is clearly not the guy, sending Carr pays Milton with a little room, and we aren’t getting a game changer in the fifth. I think it’s a good move

That's the best part of the draft... you never know.

The acquisition of Joe Milton may not be as easy and cheap as you think.

Joe Milton, Kenny Pickett, Tanner Mckee, Marcus Mariotta are all backup names to keep eyes on.

Yet you want to make a move that would be a burden on the cap to trade for

If it is not for a game changer, why are you giving up assets just to give up assets. Just role with Rattler or Haener and call it a day while Carr sulks on the sidelines as a "did not dress"

Also, why would NE want to make this move? Vrabel just took over and you think he wants to hitch his 2nd (and possibly last shot) chance as a HC to Carr?

Vrabel wouldn’t get Carr? He has Drake Maye.

Honestly, after watching Milton, I’d consider trading a fourth or MAYBE a third if we acquired an extra one somehow. There’s a lot to like and if Moore sees enough to go after him then that would be enough to get me on board. He’s worked with some good QBs in the NFL. He knows what he needs in order to have success. He maybe a goofy looking mfer but he knows ball

I didn't quote it but was responding to the suggesting of trading Carr & a 5th for Milton. You don't trade for that salary for a planned backup.

I'm on board with T-Bob Hebert's plan.

Cut Carr and eat the dead money.

Bring Jameis Winston back and let him an Rattler compete and work together until you decide what to do in 2026.
