Only to the extent that this isn’t “his phone.“ He didn’t pay for it. We all did. This phone belongs to the public and he has no f*cking privacy rights with respect to it.
The phone showing all the fraud, abuse, and corruption ("cheating" in her story) is public property and should be open for all to see.

I appreciate her attempt but she needs to get back in the kitchen and makes me some tacos.
A better analogy would be the boyfriend going through the girl’s phone looking at her Amazon spending and when she says he’s invading her privacy he reminds her that he pays not only the Amazon bill but also her phone bill.

I agree, taking a phone and locking yourself in the bathroom is too much & is a lot more extreme than what DOGE is doing here. Her analogy would be more like hacking the treasury while staying in a room surrounded by armed guards etc.
A better analogy is someone complaining about "privacy" while their spouse goes through their joint account statements.
