Well he better get used to boos. The shitty fans in NOLA will hate him if he doesn’t win the superbowl during training camp.

Rattler is no Hurts but I can see Moore running plays like tonight for Spencer and having some success.

No im not saying Rattler is the future but I think he’s the way out from under Carr.

For a season or two at least.

To be fair, he has not accepted the job yet, he went back to Philly, and Sirriani literally during the trophy ceremony made a pitch for him to come back.

I’m hoping he can surprise us and be like shanahan or McVay. No one can make assumptions on how he will handle a team as a head coach because he hasn’t been one.

Hopefully he comes in with a chip on his shoulder with something to prove.

Only downfall is Loomis will look like a genius for falling backwards into this hire…

I think some wanted a different coach. Others thought it doesn't matter much with the players and cap we have. Others are happy.
Seems a very capable guy. Been around big time orgs and players so seems to be able to handle people and the spot light. Was prepared for KC to take away the big run game and so took their shots with the passing game. Good kicking game and a unbelievable front four that just ate up the KC oline to a point of throwing in the towel.

I would imagine most of the fanbase will be happy, especially after yesterday's performance, but will have reservations about the players and cap situation. My concern is Loomis going all Loomis with the cap and trying to bring in all of Moore's guys via FA on day 1 making the cap that much worse

I admit I was a big anti Kellen Moore fan. He just seemed to have a slow processing mind which led to a disorganized offense that performed poorly. I now have to acknowledge that he obviously has something going that his outward personality does not display.

This was Moore's offense to run and he took it to a dominating SB performance. That is no fluke so got to give the guy big cred. Still no idea why he would take the Saints job with it cap handicap for the next couple years. If he declines, he would be the #1 HC candidate for any openings next year and could take his pick.

That would be the only thing that would give me pause if I were him. Make more money, you still have elite WRs, elite RB, a great line, a good TE and a very good qb then have your choice of several jobs at 37 years old.

Loomis must have made a similar sell to Moore as he did Payton. Don't recall how much control Payton had coming, but he had a lot of say with his coaching staff, free agency & draft. So, while he will most likely have better opportunities next year, there are not a lot of teams willing to give a first-time coach that kind of power out of the gate.
