My neighbor‘s daughter (18) made out with an older man last night

There was apparently a big party last night in our neighborhood and one of the chaperones (prob around 45 years old) made out with my neighbor’s daughter and he (the dad) is furious about it, she is a senior in high school.
He was telling me he’s gonna press charges and all this other bullshite, but the reality is that she 18. And although I would never tell him this, she’s not very attractive.
If you were her father, how would you handle this?
UPDATE based on curiosities from others below: she did it based on a dare, it lasted about a minute. Both sober, both consenting. Neither are attractive, his son was a the party which is why he was one of the "chaperones". I don't know the hosts or if they are even making a big deal about it. The neighborhood is very nice so leave out the trailer park comments.

Not a damn thing he can do legally. If it's worth it to him to get assault charges, that's his call. Sounds like he did a bad job as a father.

Everyone is at fault here.
-The Dad overreacts & thinks he can press charges. She is 18. He knows deep down he has failed as a father.
-The 18 year old daughter is a whore
-The 45 year old making out with an unattractive 18 year old has Wooderson vibes. She has to be hot & not living with her parents before it is acceptable.

To the daughter, I would tell her that she is eighteen. She's highly valuable to any man that wants her at her age and she is a treasure to be had. I would also tell her how women have tougher choices to make at a younger age than men in choosing a partner.
I would tell her that if she was looking for someone that much her senior while he may have resources, he lacks time and the strength for adventure in that he's already lived his life to a certain point.
To the chaperone, I would tell him to stay in his lane unless he wants to face the consequences. I would also put himself in my position and ask how he would feel if the shoe was on the other foot. If he was childish about my response, then I wait for a moment and hold him accountable in front of my daughter if he didn't get the message.
I would fight for what's best for her in front of him and not call him a single name but make him answer every hard question about what he could provide for her in front of her. I would show her that the person who cares for her should fight for her no matter what.

So this is one of the few options. She’s 18 no legal remedy is available. Fuq his wife, kick his arse (most preferred), or if he’s a puss he could try and publicly shame the dude and or get his employer informed etc.
I think a knock on the door and giving your best attempt as a beat down is the way to go. No one but Harry Sisson will be upset about this
