I was surprised how many people on this forum believed private sector hourly employees who are terminated or take voluntary retirement are getting generous severance pay like federal government employees get. Most private sector hourly employees get walked out the door with their last paycheck and any vacation pay they have earned.

It’s so unprecedented what they are doing, and the promise of significant amount of government accountability is so enormous that you would have to be borderline retarded to think its not.

It’s like someone watching the Wright Brothers at Kitty Hawk and scoffing at the lack of safety harnesses and proper landing gear. “What a couple of borderline retards those guys are!
