Per Jake Fisher our offer to Ingram was 4/140

Jake was on SXM this morning and when asked about it he said in the offseason our offer to BI was a 4/140 deal (35 million a year).
Everyone said that was a fair offer and he probably won’t get much more than that from Toronto either

Glad they stuck to that offer. Ingram will most likely get a short term extension from Toronto to get closer to the number he's coveting. I'm not sure if he'll ever get that contact he feels he deserves.

I'm sure this had a p.o. after year two built in like come the frick on Ingram. Thats a good fricking deal

More reason to be glad we moved on IMHO.
Fair deal and he didn’t want it because he was sure he was going to get max money. He may get it but it ain’t gonna be from us.

He values himself too much. He’s at best a third option.

JMO...we were lucky he chose to turn it down. VERY...lucky.

I wouldn’t have wanted him at $35M either

Based on what? We haven’t won shite without him and the team looks like a disaster right now.

Well we have actually been in playoff contention with him.

In other words, they've won absolutely nothing. You're acting like we just let a prime Chris Paul out the door again.

Ingram had to go. Simple bc of his injury issues.
You can't have both your top players be injury prone

Yea 35 is a lot for someone that’s injured as much as him. That’s like 50 million a year for a normal player.
I bet he gets less than that from Toronto unless he absolutely balls out the next few months and stays healthy.

Loved Ingram but yea you can walk if you not taking that

I’m curious to see if his next contract is higher than 35 per year.

His injuries wouldnt be as big a deal if he actually ever played hard or pretended to give a shite.
He was a bum. He turned down the money bc he didnt want to be a pelican and he thinks he is a superstar.

This deal makes me wonder if this had more to do with Willie and Zion
