Why Are the Lefties Against DOGE?

Other than just hating "All things Trump," it doesn't make any sense. I mean, who in their right mind wants their hard-earned tax dollars to be wasted because of corruption?
I made a thread this morning that, unfortunately, sank faster than the Titanic. But a condensed version of it goes like this:
The Left used to PROTEST THE MAN. The Left was on the right side concerning both the Vietnam War and the Iraq War. They were right when they called Bush and Cheney war criminals who bowed at the altar of the MIC.
But now? They worship scumbags like the Clinton family, the Biden family, Nancy Pelosi, George Soros, Bill Gates, etc. They support Big Pharma, Fauci, the WEF, the WHO, etc.
The Left has abandoned its single best attribute. Instead of PROTESTING THE MAN, they are now almost totally devoted to PROTECTING THE MAN.
What happened?

Elon has been the second most hated man on the planet by the left ever since he bought Twitter. He should be a liberals wet dream. He's the only one out there trying to make electric cars a thing and he's saving NASA money with Space X.

They’ve become the anti-Trump party. That’s it. If Trump takes a position, they take the opposite- even if they alienate most Americans in the process.

Yes. Sadly, this part is understandable. They have used these various scams to become filthy rich, and they want to keep it that way.
Rank-and-file lefties should be ashamed to support this, though. They are only getting crumbs at the most.

And not just here in the US. If an audit like this was done in the EU, Britain, Australia, etc etc, we'd find and bring to light the same things.
