This game could literally have drag queen gang bangs in it for all you know, they've released nothing(why i think if it launches this year it will be rushed and a POS) about it considering how soon the launch likely is.
Just because a game made 12 years ago was good, doesn't mean this one will be. That's a lot of faith in something in which the industry has made radical shifts. Dragon age? Assasin's Creed? Outlaws?

It's just like that poster in the NCAA thread that sky screamed for weeks to anyone that even hinted at being excited for that game that it was going to be a copy/paste of Madden and a huge disappointment/failure. Aaaand it ends up being the highest selling sports game of the year. Let shite play out.

I know right. The 5 previous games in the series were terrible and commercial failures. They clearly have no clue how to make compelling or groundbreaking games that connect with the average gamer. Since their inception, Rockstar has proven themselves time and time again to produce nothing but woke garbage.

Rockstar has an outstanding reputation for quality so I’m more than willing to let them cook and give them benefit of doubt. It’s important to remember that just like many many other studios with big names nowadays though often times those names are nothing more than skin suits. A lot of talent has left Rockstar, we will see if they replaced it properly

How can anyone be pretty sure at this point? Their last big release came out almost 7 years ago. While overall I’d say it was good, the gameplay got pretty damn repetitive.
Since then they’ve had a definitive collection come out that they pretty much fricked up, and their best gta writers have left. Plus what we’ve been watching other major studios do to their IPs lately makes this a wait and see for me and I hate to say it considering I’ve bought every release of theirs previously on day 1.
If they end up making this $100 on release (and don’t kid yourselves, they’ve been hinting at it for awhile) it’s a definite wait and see. It better be really fricking good.

Your logic is flawed.
The 5 previous games(along with RDR and RDR2 maybe you've heard of them) were written by Dan Houser. He's gone. The producer of the last 4... oh yea, he's gone.
I don't see how you can compare it to previous versions when nobody who made those games great is working on this project. Also a journalist already reported they were intentionally making the game less edgy, and wouldn't be including jokes about marginalized groups.
We shall see, but i got a bad feeling about this.

I don’t know if it will be a woke catastrophe like some suspect, but I am not sure the rockstar of today can put out the same subversive edgy content of old.
I wish they’d release it on pc on day one. I have no interest in purchasing it for console.
Some speculate that the games industry is waiting to see if rockstar is bold enough to charge 80-100 dollars for this game. If they do it, others will follow.
