Hurts to see him go, but it's time. Definitely sucks he and Jose won't be together anymore.

I want to be on the record (I was against the dejounte trade immediately), this is a dogshit fricking trade. This is a Josh Richardson/Devonte Graham type return for our 2nd best player.

Honestly the fact that David Griffin is still orchestrating trades for the future of this team is fricking criminal. Bruce Brown and Kelly Olynyk. What the frick is that.

Yeah who knows a different system a different coach... maybe someone solves the BI /Zion pairing. The first couple of years I was convinced they would figure it out. What I had imagined is essentially what we are seeing from Z/TM3.

I will always appreciate Brandon's time in nola. The ProPels boys are miserable wannabes.

Good Brandon was some of the most elite basketball in franchise history. Bad Brandon was either him sitting out for no good reason or playing rage inducing iso ball.

Sad to see him go, but it was time.

It’s also criminal how bad your iq is .

Expiring contract your gonna get little to nothing every time you have no leverage .

And you forgot to
Mention the only good
Piece in the trade , the first rounder .

Also massive addition through subtraction .

I rate the deal a B

Lonzo Ball averaged more games played for us than BI.

That’s all I have to say.

Why do you put a space between the end of your sentence and your period? Mighty low Iq of you.

It was fun whenever he went into mid-range assassin mode. Best of luck BI.

BI deserved so much better from this organization. Toronto just got one hell of a player for scraps and a late 1st. We saw him really develop his passing ability while he was in New Orleans to the point that it’s his 2nd best quality after his ability to score from anywhere when he’s on. I wish him nothing but the best. I’d be interested to know what Zion thinks now. Now watch him make another step and be a 30/7/7 guy for them and I hope he does it so Willie and Griff look even worse. The shitty part is most players hate playing for this franchise but BI always seemed to like New Orleans and the Pelicans. You don’t often see that.

This was a deal for the sake of doing a deal. No vision, just let’s make a deal. We’ve got dudes running victory laps for a Pacers 2026 1st? Really? Who gives a frick.

Really liked BI. We tried to make him our franchise player and build around him but the front office failed him and adding an horrible stretch of bad luck with player injuries, we never got to see the lineups full potential.

It remember people on here saying we should get minimum three firsts since it’s what the Raptors got for Siakam in the same exact situation….

Good times…

For as good as Trey is, he still can’t create offense as well as BI can if his 3 ball isn’t falling. That said the best we can hope is flipping Olynk and Brown for 2nds and then hitting on the late 1st as a solid bench piece. The tank has to be full on now though. We have to get one of the top 3 picks or this franchise has very little to look forward to. All the best to BI. 156 games with Z in 5 1/2 years should get people fired but Gayle doesn’t give a shite.

This trade is just a good reminder that most people are fricking dumbasses. Having the same opinion as the masses is a recipe to get proven wrong at a later date.

TM3’s showing stuff right now BI could only dream of. And he’s been in a main role for 1-2 months now. Dude isn’t scared of contact. He’s a more willing passer. He can weave through traffic and has better burst to the rim. Better finisher at the rim. Better athlete. He’s a handful to guard 1 on 1 right now. GOOD teams are throwing everybody at him and he’s been stellar of late. There are plays in the BOS/DEN games where he beat 3 dudes to get to the rim by himself.

You can really tell the people who aren’t watching the games this season based on what they say about TM3. It is the only explanation I have for the amount of stupid shite people say about TM3’s season. His game has evolved a mind blowing amount.

ETA: TM3 had two moves last year. Shoot a spot up 3 or dive straight at the rim. He’s even starting to show ability to take step back 3s off the dribble when he’s 1 on 1. He’s going to have that shot next year. Bank it.
