Yeah, this trilogy of albums, After Hours, Dawn FM, and Hurry Up Tomorrow, leads to the end of The Weeknd persona.

This movie is about to catch a lot of folks off guard. Psych thriller is much needed.

Well, I don't know what to tell you. Don't watch it, I guess. That little writeup you posted doesn't really scratch the surface of the back story that goes along with this film. There's been five years and a trilogy of albums leading up to it.

Concept being the operative word, as the albums are concept albums loosely based on Dante's The Divine Comedy.
After Hours- Inferno
Dawn FM- Purgatorio
Hurry Up Tomorrow- Paradiso
But they're also semi-autobiographical and fictitious at the same time centered around The Weeknd persona, who he's killing off at the end of this world tour.
