First thing to notice,……most LSU sports fans would likely have MBB down the list of sports teams preferred. Likely 5th. Second, with a few brief (Pistol Pete, Shaq, & Maclin) exceptions, a handful of trips to the NCAA tournament, it never has been that.

I'd take a good football and baseball program over a good basketball program. Not saying we have a good football program, but we are not far off.
