Really like the hire if it indeed goes through
Feel like he could be a good long term coach instead of a short rental like Mccarthy

Honestly he’s about the best we could hope for. Young offensive guy that’s been interviewing for a couple years now. Any not a retread.

Maybe he turns out to be a good coach, maybe not. But I have alot more hope than what we did with a retread Dennis Allen hire.

Feels like just yesterday he should have been playing Texas for the Natty in 2009 instead of that trash Bama team that the league office handed wins over Tennessee and LSU.

Really dumb career move by Kellen Moore honestly; he’s going to have no chance, and it’s going to ruin his future coaching prospects. He might be throwing away a lot of future fame and money.

Be sure you let him know that when you go to training camp with the rest of the team.

Dennis Allen was able to get another head coaching gig after his Raiders stint. If Moore were to flame out with the Saints I am pretty sure he could get another OC job do that for a couple of years and get another shot at a HC job.

Moore could also realize that he doesn’t want to be a HC and be a lifetime OC. Either way he will be making money.

Like it!!!

Now, let him and his staff handle the draft. Ireland and Mick can get everyone coffee and Monsters but no input.

With the money the Saints pay him, he'll never have to work another day even if he gets fired

He got a job with the Saints because the Saints are morons. It would have been hard to find a worse candidate. The whole front office deserves to be fired for hiring Allen.

You don’t hire a coach with a proven losing record just because you’re familiar with him and because he’s your buddy.

It was like LSU hiring Ed Orgeron but without the unbelievable miracle, lightning in a bottle season.

You do realize that it's more than just Allen who has gotten a second chance at a head coaching gig after a bad first run. I was just trying to give you an example.

Wouldnt want a guy too scared to take a chance career wise.

He's not exactly Ben Johnson who can basically pick his job. Kellen would be a guy that risk career suicide waiting too long.

Depends on whether or not they make him the scapegoat and fire him after 2 seasons lol. This team should be pretty bad for the next few seasons

Hopefully, he’s the next Sean McVay. Although, the Eagles offense seems to be Sierini’s offense given his background.

But if he can coach like Sean Payton then he can write his own check in a few years. These coaches don’t think from a failure or fear mindset. I’d imagine coaches have to be self confident.
