Has anyone tried them? I went to calandro’s to get my first king cake fix. I’m no king cake expert but I noticed the price on St Bruno was $45. They were about 33% bigger than the calandro’s. Ended up taking the calandro’s plain for $19.

They're quite good - there was one at the office the other day. But $45 seems expensive for a king cake.

They're $35 if you order from them and pick it up at one of their distribution spots. Calandro's is adding $10 for their markup.

I got one last year and it was great, but seemed to get stale quicker.

I had their king cake cinnamon roll and it was incredible.

BTW, oak point king cakes aren’t very good.

I had one last year but as previous poster said it didn’t last long at all

It got really hard quick
I think it’s more their type of bread

Highly agree.. their plain king cake is garbage and the others are just dessert style cakes overloaded with crap.

LOL

Did a side by side with DP, most of us thought the Oak point was better.
