He’s a free agent, but he’s recovering from a pretty nasty injury.
I for one hope we re-sign him, but idk how the money is gonna work.
And we all know Loomis loses our best drafted talent.
What yall think?

Keep Adebo on a 1 yr deal if he’ll sign it.

Get rid of the old guys

I really want him to stay, but idk if he will sign a 1 year deal. Dude is gonna get paid somewhere.

*On a side note, screw Mickey for what he’s done to the cap. This is why we don’t have Hendrickson, Baum etc.

Pretty sure his recovery time frame had him being up to speed around the draft. If that is the case, I don't think anyone is throwing any sort of money at him until after the draft. This would give Loomis plenty of time to play games with the money and make it work, even if they agree to be a post 6/01 deal

Adebo must go. Have to trust Kool Aid and somebody we draft. No cap room for that type of resigning and I’m guessing he wants out of NOLA.

He has very good stats. Very expensive to keep so I would gut the roster try to keep him.

Kiss him goodbye. This is the pain fans will feel with our cap situation. He will be only the first painful loss.
The only thing to make it sting more is if it's to a team in conference.
Atlanta!

His tape wasn’t good last year before the injury. Way too many penalties. Year before he played like a #1 corner.

And now the injury. I think a team may do a one year incentive type deal, but don’t see a big payday coming. He’s a tricky situation.

Accumulate draft picks letting people walk. Package draft picks to get higher future draft picks. Phase out older player contracts. Sign draft picks and undrafted free agents to cheap contracts. Suck record wise but clear the negative cap.

Adebo is similar to Olave in that they are both really good #2 at their position but not clear cut #1s.

2024 CB deals to think about
Kristian Fulton (25) 1yr/$3.1M
Adoree Jackson (28) 1yr/$1.75M
Chidobe Awuzie (28) 3yr/$36M w/$23M guaranteed. 3 years older, but similar inconsistent play and coming off of an injury.

Olave I would not pick up the 5th year option. Let him play out 25 season, and go from there but I would not be eager to give him a 2nd contract

This shite is getting old..

Half of our cap problem came from kicking the can 4 years down the road to try and appease Payton, and the other half is from being too soft and giving 'retirement' deals to guys like Cam Jordan (deals that everyone here applauded when they were made). Hendrickson left because Payton didn't want to admit he completely whiffed on Davenport. Baun left became we offered him a deal to play special teams and Philly saw a better fit in their linebacker scheme.

Hanging our entire situation on Mickey Loomis is ridiculous. He has a mandate from ownership to be "at least competitive" and so any hard rebuild will always be out of the question.

The cap isn't the reason Baun ain't here

This team probably isn’t signing any non minimum salary free agents this off season. He’s gone.
