The club is good aswell as the panini’s. Huge salad bar if you’re into that. Free ice cream. Feels like I’m in the 90s when I go in.

I like to go there especially when I’m on the road and don’t want a fast food burger….

One of the last salad bars in BR so I hit it up occasionally. And it’s a pretty good one.

Yep. I've only been there for a Reuben, but unfortunately it's usually dry.

That's been my experience too. I prefer the Reuben at Arby's to Jason's Deli, but it's hard to find a really good Reuben.

Jason's is great. Salad bar is one of the best at that price. All their sandwiches are good. Baked potatoes are HUGE and very good. All their soups are good to great. Even their gumbo is solid, especially for a Texas run company. The only thing I've had there and not really liked are the steamed vegetables. Absolutely bland and flavorless.

If you ask for double meat, it's the same Reuben as Carnegie Deli was in NYC.

Also, for what it is, the seafood gumbo is good.

I go 1/4 mufaletta and chicken pot pie combo. The knockoff ruffles are great. Swirl soft serve cone and a tip on the table as I leave is a nice lunch

Beefeater for the win. Half sandwich and salad bar and multiple trips to salad bar.

Hadn't had it in at least 20 years. Recently purchased their poboy buns while in Texas to use. Factoid: all Jason's use Leindenheimer poboy bread and muffuletta rolls. I also ate a Rueben there Monday. It was very decent. And yes, I got an ice cream on the way out. I was surprised by the quality all the way around, if I'm being quite honest.

I haven't eaten there in years, but I remember the muffuletta was solid. I used to work there on the oven station and would build and toast the muffs and bake all the potatoes. Also the Cowboy, its a good sandwich if you go into it understanding its not real BBQ.

Really like it. Top notch salad bar. I feel good after doing the 1/2 sandwich 1/2 salad thing. The knockoff Ruffles are actually better. Never had a bad visit.

Good to know. Leidenheimer is otherwise nearly impossible to find in central TX in loaf form. A few places use it in true poboys. Most places use hoagie rolls and call it a poboy.

Back to OP, last couple times I had Jason’s were in office lunch settings. Was always good. Just never stop there any other time.

I'm a fan of the Santa Fe chicken sandwich but it's been awhile since I've had it.

1/2 sandwich and salad bar is awesome. The spicy giardini on a salad is the way to go
