Paul, there was no other arc in the New T. greater than his. We’re excluding Jesus.

I like Paul and his letters, but Paul went through the ringer post conversion

Satan, but this time we’re changing the story for good. God is a jealous god and just tries to keep the man down.

Have you seen the women in Israel?
I would choose to be Enoch since he actually got to hang out with God.

Also, being whoever the lucky guy was that knocked up Mary would be a strong #2 option. I bet she was stunning. The only negative is having to deal with that narcissistic kid who claimed he could walk on water.

God.
This is the only answer that makes any sense unless you see God and Jesus as one entity or you can't allow yourself to take the big prize.

Mary- to have the chance to give birth to and raise the Son of God.

quote:Apoc. (Rev.) 6:1-2 (KJV)
And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

How poetic. I bet you got a real high from writing that nonsense.

Would be sweet to be one of them…until how all but one ended.
I think it would be cool to be the groom at the wedding in which Jesus performed the first documented miracle. Got married and partied with Jesus the same day. Hard to top as a mere mortal.

I mean Elijah seems to be able to summon the power of God at will, blowing up idols of false gods and soldiers with fire on command, raising the dead, making food from thin air, parting the Jordan River, controlling the weather, etc. Then he rides off to heaven in a chariot of fire. So I'm gonna roll with Elijah.

They all, except for John, died painful, horrifying deaths. Actually, I’ll take John, known as the beloved, lived the longest, saw the early church really established. Has a gospel named after him and some amazing scripture in his books as well.
-Paul was beheaded
-Peter was crucified upside down
-Andrew was crucified upside down
-Thomas was stabbed to death with spears
-Philip was skinned alive and beheaded
-James (son of Zebedee) was beheaded
-John was thrown in boiling oil but somehow survived (well we all know how)
-Bartholomew was skinned alive and beheaded
-Matthew was burned to death
-James (the Lesser) stoned and clubbed to death
-Simon (the Zealot) was sawed/axed to death
-Jude was sawed/axed to death
