Wife is a big lady tigers fan so we are going up for the game Sunday, looking for a quick meal on the way out.

Red Zepplin on Perkins is great.
Rocca on Government St. is great.
The deep dish at Rotolo's Craft & Crust is solid. (not the regular Rotolo's)

No, just no. It has BR nostalgia, but ends at that.
Current owner is a complete a-hole to his employees.
Yells at them in front of customers constantly.
I left wanting to speak up for an employee he belittled in front of our whole group.

He’s an arse.
I was supposed to have lunch with a friend there a little while back. I was sitting in my truck in the parking lot waiting for them to show up. The owner came out and yelled at me and said he was going to call the tow truck if I didn’t move.

You sure this wasn’t Fleur de Lis?

Not saying it’s the “best” but right across the street from the PMAC is Fat Boy’s Pizza. I personally prefer Torchys next door for a pre-game bite and beer.

It doesn't get any love on here. But I enjoy City Slice on Chimes St.
The Heisman (smoked chicken, bacon, white sauce) at City Slice is by far my favorite pizza in BR. Good wings too.

Pastime owner is indeed an arse. I still like going on occasion for the nostalgia because it's some place I've been going to since I was a kid. But I would go much more often if it wasn't for my experiences with the owner. I still don't mind the pizza, it's in no way "great pizza" but again, it's nostalgic and I hope it never changes.
Red Zeppelin seems to be the consensus on here and I would probably agree. I like most pizza places in town and have no complaints about pizza in Baton Rouge. I'm always able to find something that makes me happy. Same with BBQ in BR...I can find places that are good even if this board can't admit to any being worthy to exist.

I've seen the owner of Pastime blow up twice while I was in there.
Second time, I went to buy my mom a t-shirt, and he screamed at the employee because she didn't know where they kept the key for the display cabinet.
The dude seriously has a short fuse.

First, learn how to use the quote function, and second, you and a few others on here need some new damned material.
That place has been closed for a couple of years, and ya'll are still talking about it every chance you get. It really must have broken some of you.

The Internet machine shows it as open.
You must be the a-hole owner.
