Yesterday we had a thread on reports that Mexican Cartels threatened to shoot down repatriation flights and today there is a thread on a firefight at the border between the Cartels and Border Patrol: LINK.
Now Donald Trump JR has latched onto the downing planes threat, and is championing the idea of bringing back the Revolutionary War practice of giving out letters of Marque to citizens - giving them the right to take up arms against the Cartels as Privateers.
Ukraine bros here’s your chance if you missed out on flying halfway across the world to fight against Russia.
This conflict is much closer and more convenient.

Taking out someone as well armed as the cartel should warrant a bit more than “a cut”
