Did you read the link? It names an out of state contractor that the Gamecoin crew hired, not the creators themselves. It looks like the whole thing was a half baked idea that quickly picked up steam and they threw money at anyone who could supposedly help build whatever it was they were trying to do.
This guy turns around and steals a bunch of money, and the BR residents who jumped on the bandwagon are the ones that got screwed.

Government hasn't yet shown a desire to prosecute people who promote a scam without them knowing it's a scam. I mean they're just now barely prosecuting willful scammers that did off with millions.

Is this coin dead or is there still a chance it rebounds after the sec issue? Seems like this situation was not anything they were aware of. Just mistakenly partnered with a bad engineer. The guys that started this coin seem to have legitimate intentions but is it worth keeping the coin at this point???
