Why is dalton Kincaid getting a mini pass compared to Andrews?

no it wasn't in the end zone but a game ender nonetheless..a pretty easy catch to make. could have changed many legacies dropping that ball. im assuming the reason is the focus on refs and helping chiefs and shitty qb sneaks.....Kincaid shite the bed when he had a chance to make a huge play

Was it really an easy catch or was it a difficult catch we just expect NFL receivers to make?

1. That pass (while very catchable) was way shittier than the ball mark dropped
2. Mark also had a nearly game ending fumble the series before.

Cause he was diving for a ball spinning sideways.

I mean, on a scale of 1-10 for difficulty on each catch Andrews was a 1 and Kincaid was about a 6.

It was nowhere near the same.
Yes, if he makes that catch he goes down as a GOAT in Bills history...
But the level of difficulty was alot harder than certain angles made it look. The Chiefs were in Cover 0 and brought the house. Allen just blindly threw the ball in the "area" that Kincaid should have been and the throw was short of the route Kincaid ran. Kincaid then came back to the ball and was fortunate enough to get hands on the ball.
Old logic, if your hands touch the ball, you should catch the ball...
With that being said, Kincaid is a Tight End for a reason. Alot is put on Tight Ends these days, but at the end of the day there's a reason why he's not a WR.
Great attempt by both Allen and Kincaid to even have a "chance" in that situation, but cannot hold him to the same level as Andrews who was open on a flat route which was pitch and catch.

OP makes a good point. Josh Allen taking all the heat but Kincaid had no defenders around him. He makes that catch Bills are in FG range to tie it with time left for a potential walk off TD.
