There's gotta be one guy that bets it every week.

I googled could find anything.

I have never heard of such a rule. If I was a coach and a ref told me that I would respond with if you do that I cannot guarantee your safety out there on the field.

Happened in the Cotton Bowl in the 1950s when Tommy Lewis came off the Bama bench to stop a Rice score.

Th commies should have called their bluff and either forced them to award the score or ran the clock all the way down from jumping offsides.

Of all the bullshite the nfl has pulled as of late that rubbed me the wrong way pretty badly .

Its pretty damn clear they were just trying to time the play that they already are at a huge disadvantage on.

It’s a good rule in the case of outside interference, but being awarded because a team jumped offsides seems egregious.

I've never seen it done in the NFL but it is in the rule book to prevent angle shooting.

The refs were invoking it way too quickly there though

That would totally be called by a guy who’s only out there because of his dad

Could've ended the guys career with an out of nowhere dive at his knees, one of the most egregious cowardly cheap shots in sports history.

I mean, who does that Alabama?

Only other example is that boxer who sucker-punched his opponent w/o gloves in the ring after the winner hugged him during the decision by the referee.
