Yea, I have no issue with the play, but you have to let defenses design for it.

Agreed, jumping on a hard count isn’t intentional, even if you are going over the top

Hard counts are legal but defense being fooled by a hard count trying to time it is unsportsmanlike?

That was the stupidest shite.. if the rule allows them to push then you have allow a counter which is trying to time it.
Would’ve been funny had the commanders just stood up and backed away and just told them to score at the point.

Yeah that's pretty stupid. They're already being penalized. The eagles suffered nothing from those penalties.

As a coach, I may have just pulled my D off the field to make a point.
In 30 years I’ve never seen an official announce that they can just award points.

Exactly. If they want to run it fine but that ref is basically like sit back and let them blow you off the ball

Over regulated by poor officiating.
It’s pretty incredible that the eagles could have kept going with the hard count and suffered 0 consequences. They were intentionally drawing the behavior.
