Society is determined to prevent men from being Red Pilled.
Can't have men learning the truth about women/marriage, otherwise they might escape the matrix and live free.
A must read for teenage guys before they enter the dating world and destroy their lives.
She received death threats in the 70's for daring to tell the truth about women, marriage, and feminism.
She doesn't mince words, she tells it like it is.

I think banning books is stupid, but all that other shite.. I don't know anything about. I never read it and I am good.

I wonder why....

When I searched for that book on Amazon, I got all kinds of other books that are of the same topic it seemed. Why ban that book only?

Why ban a book? Why not let people decide for themselves like grown ups. Nothing oozes fear and insecurity like censorship.

That term is thrown around so much it's become pretty much valueless.

Seems like there's about 1000 places you can buy it online. . . ebay, biblio, alibris etc etc etc

maybe Bezos is squeezing the publisher

The Spanish version is the first result when you search Esther Vilar. Seems like it just might not be that classic.

Didn't they ban "The Bell Curve" as well for daring to speak the truth about students and grades?

What is this truth about women/marriage that you talk of? Current feminists hate marriage, too, ya know? The family seems to be getting attacked from all sides.

Read the book.
You can start by reading the quote on cover of the book.
The Audiobook is on YouTube if you can't afford the book.

I did. I would add the word "weak" in front on "men".

Kind of showing your ignorance there Bub, no offense.
Over 50 years later and women are still so triggered by this book that it was banned by Amazon.

Men in general fit that quote.
Otherwise the majority of men wouldn't get married.

If your book flies under the radar its safe. If it attracts the wrong attention, it can get banned. There was a book about feminism called Sexual Utopia in Power by F. Roger Devlin, and it made a lot of waves when it was published. The SPLC made a point of labeling it racist because it linked feminism with the decline of white birth rates in the US and Europe, and boom, it disappeared from Amazon.

How is a book that tells the truth about how women manipulate men into being their providers an attack on family ?
The truth is the truth.

Had a feeling that this thread might trigger women & feminine men.
Thanks for proving me correct

Yeah, the big picture is people who don't like book banning should just steer away from Amazon.

They seem to ban any book -- regardless of left or right politics, culture etc -- that has any group creating a stir about wanting it banned.

Ironically, extremely left wing bookstores -- like the one beside my record shop which has a copy of this for sale right now -- are usually vehemently opposed to banning any books. But they also have all the gender politics books the right wants banned from Amazon too that one would be exposed to if they went in to buy this one.

Men are supposed to be the providers and women the care givers. This formula has been proven to work for centuries.
