I don't think you people think this all the way through.

He just went to the raiders who are also in shambles. So, he basically just took the same deal.

Makes sense for Carroll.

He will be the short-term caretaker to conduct a good bit of their rebuild.

He will eventually give to another HC in about 4 years.
