Considering these bubble heads can’t even drive in rain, much less snow and ice, good idea. They won’t think for themselves, that’s for sure.

I drove around today and was fine. People need to stop acting like pussies.

Agree...wait until the teachers try to milk this snow event for a week to buy time away from work. They will be griping 2 weeks about going back ""too soon"" and in ""unsafe conditions.""

I hope anyone out driving who’s not on the job that gets into an accident, their insurance denies. 1st responders and the such are stuck away from their families for several days on duty for emergencies. Don’t be one.

I love watching her traffic reports. Some high quality milkers on that one.

They'll be real pissed when most paved roads are clear by tomorrow afternoon.

A sunny day does a lot of work on snow covered roads even if it is cold outside.

People who don’t get the snow shot should go to jail

That’s not bad, it’s deserving. The news channel is reporting accidents. Louisiana residents can’t drive on a good day.

That's not really the point. The point is risk reduction. You might be fine 999 out of 1000 times in regular weather. In this weather maybe that drops to 99 out of 100. Still pretty good odds, right? Except your chance of a crash just went up 10x. Imagine the wrecks on a normal day and then multiply it by 10, that's what happens if people decide to drive in inclement weather.

It's a simplified example, but the point is that if people get out, there will be wrecks. No ifs about it. There willbe wrecks and more than necessary.

You can stay home for 48 hours. It's not going to kill you. If you can't manage to do that, perhaps you need to ask yourself why.

ETA: you can tell who’s wives make them drive a minivan or car here instead of having a real man truck with 4wd

They’ll be begging their administrators that they need another day with no kids so they can come in a mental prepare for the kids to come back
