Notre Dame is just a "gimmick" program.
everyone knows they're different, they have their own NBC contract, etc.... and they're usually good enough to be considered a top-25 team.... but they're never truly a great team worthy of championship contention. when the media ranks them #5, in reality they're likely #15.
this isn't 1924 or even 1988 anymore ... they're not a legit contender or threat to win it all. over the last 35+ years they have consistently failed when given championship opportunities.

It turned out like I expected. Ohio State won comfortably and Notre Dame didn’t get run out of the stadium. I picked 28-14.
