the price with Boeing on building the two (there are two) replacement Air Force Ones?
The completion date for construction was recently moved back to 2029. WTF is going on?

Boing gonna Boeing. Don't worry, they'll still finance the right campaigns, and the contracts will keep coming in

Biden probably renegotiated to get his cut and cost the tax payer another $2B.

I suspect the Dems arranged it so he could never fly in them.

They’re gonna frick around and Elon‘s gonna have enough and build one in about 4 1/2 months that’ll be faster fly higher and cheaper while using less fuel than anything Boeing was going to do.

Trump should condition the completion of the project and any further payments (and any future government contracts) be conditioned on Boeing completely dismantling their DEI department. Clearly, Boeing DEI initiatives have led to substandard planes and deadly accidents so there is a VERY VALID reason for this action.

Well, when you are Boeing and agree to a fixed price of $3.5B and now expect it to cost you $5.5B...you really aren't in a hurry to finish it up. Gotta focus on other priorities to try and make up the $2B loss

Elon will pay them a visit and it'll be ready in 6 months

They took two pre-existing unsold aircraft and went with retrofit to keep the taxpayer cost down.
Ironically, if they would have been custom built this would have been over with and Trump would be on his new jet soon.

Could Trump issue an executive order that the government do no business with companies with DEI departments, or would that have to come from Congress?
