I really like George Miller movies. I expected to like this one at least as much as Fury Road. It took some effort to get through it. For some reason I didn't find the story compelling, and Chris Hemsworth seems to do nothing but overact in this film and Thor Love and Thunder. Hoping he'll make a rebound because between these two films and Endgame his schtick is getting tiresome. What were in the beginning appealing spurts of comedy from him have turned into kabuki. I normally really like Anya Taylor Joy but found her work and the film in general tedious despite being full of action. Maybe this series is played out for me, but I was surprised at the induced boredom. Oh well. I enjoyed Kraven more, and that's saying something.

Fury Road is a staple on long haul flights. I can re-watch it again and again. Furiosa, I'm never watching again.

I couldn't get into it the first time around but thought it was better on a rewatch. I think the first time I was just ready for the time skip the whole time because I knew one was coming.

the war wagon fight scenes were good

I loved this film, I thought fury road was just ok initially but after watching Furiosa I rewatched fury and liked it better now, a few more things made sense.

I thought it was terrible and it just looked like a straight to DVD knockoff of Mad Max. Terrible acting and horrible effects.
