What is the OT's take on tipping flight attendants?

It never occurred to me that I should tip them until I saw a dude tip one as we were deplaning the other day. We did have meal service, so maybe that is why? I don't know. I guess maybe if she is mixing you drinks during the flight perhaps? What says the OT?

frick no and I’m pretty generous about tipping. Are they even allowed to take tips?

What do you tip them for? First class, maybe because they actually serve you.

When you say tipping do you mean giving them money or pushing them over?

I never thought to do this. I always thought they were apparently paid pretty well. Are you sure he wasn’t just trying to impress her?
Seems like it would be a pretty lucrative profession if they got 30-40 tips on a flight in addition to their salary.

I don’t tip them, but I usually make little gift bags for each of them - sometimes I just give them all Starbucks gift cards.
A little kindness goes a long way.

"Before we pull up to the terminal, if you'll all direct your attention to the screen in front of you, it's just going to ask you a question..."

Depends on how hot they are and how big their boobs are

Flight attendants and nurses are two of the most self-important people out there. Ever since Covid they both think they are the second coming of Christ.

Tip a flight attendant? When did this start? Why would I tip them? This tipping bullshite has got out of control.

I honestly didn't think they were, but she did.

I've flown over 1 million lifetime miles, I've never tipped a flight attendant, nor have I ever seen anyone else tip a flight attendant.

I am sure you'll find some here that would. I've seen people on here post about tipping hotel maids.

Tipping is only for workers not paid minimum wage and the perk of their job is getting paid in tips that they can hide from the IRS

This is me. It had never even occurred to me.

Same here. I didn't know if this was something new or what. I'll chalk it up to a one off.
