pretty surprising development as most thought it was between the Dodgers and Padres with the Blue Jays just kinda being there

supposedly a decision should be coming soon

I knew I could like the Dodgers less than I already did, and I was right.

The Dodgers are the clear priority spot for Japanese FA now with Ohtani there (and the legacy will probably last after that).

When I watched the WBC the amount of nasty on the Japanese staff was eye opening. I think most of those guys have now come over (LA has gotten the best two now) but that will be a nice pipeline for pitching talent for the Dodgers the next several years

Hopefully your Dodgers get him. It'll be nice to see them land a star player for once.

Padres reddit is amazing

Man, I don't even wanna watch baseball this year at this point. Not in a fairweather way, but a "I don't wanna support this product anymore" way.

Rename the MLB to DAF (Dodgers and Friends), according to every media outlet, this is all Good For Baseball™

The Jays also just got 2 mill more in international money right? Dodgers might be the betting favorite but the Jays are definitely acting like they have a reason to be optimistic

It's going to be the Defferedgers, FYI

MLB has stacked the deck for that franchise for years and they only have 1 WS title to show for it

Can't wait for the trade deadline this year when the Dodgers acquire the 3 hottest names on the trade block while only having to give up their 174th ranked prospect, 211th ranked prospect, and a 12 pack of Diet Dr. Pepper

Padres fans were really cocky about this. They thought they had Sasaki signed, sealed and delivered

Blue Jays just traded for more international cap space. Might not mean anything but it’s still interesting.

Means they definitely still have a shot and haven't been told no

Dodgers are definitely the betting favorites but the Blue Jays still clearly have more than just a slight chance

Very true. I'll almost feel sorry for them if they lose out again with Sasaki like they did with Ohtani.
