Volvo has a wider array of good vehicles. We had one and it was pretty solid, although it felt more fragile than our full sized GM SUV. I don't think Volvo is as sturdy as they used to be, but they are miles ahead of BMW and Jaguar in terms of costs of ownership.
Infiniti is horrific and most of their products are ancient....except for the exact one you have pictured - which is still outclassed and outsold by similar models from Lexus, Cadillac, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, GMC, and probably even Lincoln.
Infiniti can no longer support stand alone dealerships like Volvo; they are forcing most of them to merge with Nissan. And Nissan is one of the worst run car companies around right now except for possibly Stellantis.

You can find mechanics and parts for Infinity MUCH easier than you can find Volvo mechanics and parts.

The same company that makes the Altima man,... the Altima.

I tend to like Volvo more.
Their vehicles all look really clean.

Infiniti as a brand is pretty much dead. They have nothing that's even arguably best in class. The writing was on the wall when they started closing down Infiniti dealerships and merging them with Nissan dealerships. It's a sad decline from 20 years ago when their G35 sports sedan was a massive success.
By contrast, Volvo has seen somewhat of a resurgence in the past 20 years. They have a very good lineup. They may not be best in class and certainly not the largest, but they are all competitive and seem to have a loyal following.

My wife has a 2020 Volvo XC90 and I will never purchase another Volvo.
Sister has the big infinity and they also hate it.
So, short answer, is neither based on my personal experience.

We are a Volvo family. I like the 20-22 xc90s vs the newer ones. My big grip is that you still need a cord for CarPlay. Not sure if they went full Bluetooth in the 25s or not

What happens to y’all’s 90? Or 60s have been pretty good, knocks on wood.

I recently asked a volvo owner how they liked their SUV and they loved it but in BR there is only one dealership and one decent independent mechanic shop for service. If I was buying a volvo I wouldn't keep it out of warranty.

I see a shite ton on Infinitys around…but that’s maybe just where I am. They must be cheapest in class for those less-than-the-biggest SUVs.

Infinity is just a Nissan with leather seats

The qx60 isn't bad, the new qx80 is really nice (albeit likely overpriced and up against some tough competition), but as an overall brand, Infiniti is on life support.
I had a Volvo xc60 and it was riddled with issues, I'd never buy another Volvo.
An Infiniti can likely be worked on by any mechanic familiar with Japanese brands.
I'd personally choose Infiniti, but this is like arguing over who's the tallest midget.

Post is spot-on...
Infinity, when launched, was supposed to be Lexus-like.
That went away fairly quickly.

I can't think of a single vehicle they make that I'd buy except maybe the Frontier or Armada.
The Titan was a solid vehicle that they let age and failed to keep it updated.
