If Ohio State soundly beats ND (which very easily could happen).

What would Freeman have done that BK hasn't? Both get to the Natty in their 3rd season at ND and get blown out.

You don’t think BK could beat Indiana?

The question was what has one done that the other hasn’t.

Is ND loses, he'll have done absolutely nothing more than BK did there. Also, who cares.

Then BK would be right after all.

He didn’t think he could build a championship team at ND.

For everyone ready to crown Freeman, Sonny Dykes also made it to the National Championship….

If you don’t care why does it matter that one guy has won playoff games and one hasn’t?

Ohio State will beat itself and Notre Dame will be champs. Expect Ohio state to choke.

This again?

Short answer- won 3 playoff games

Won 2 major bowls - Sugar and Orange. ND had not won a single major bowl since 1994.

This post is for those that have pitted the Freeman vs. BK narrative the last few weeks. They obviously give a shite.

If you don't give a shite, why take the time to reply?

Yes, this again. It happens on message boards, but the folks that seem to complain about the repeats sure take the time to reply.

BTW, you can't give Freeman props for winning "major bowl games" when they are part of current playoff structure compared to the BCS back in the day.

No. I also certainly don’t think he could have beaten Indiana, Georgia, and Penn State.

More importantly, why are we doing this? Comparing Kelly and Freeman? Comparing LSU and Notre Dame? Kelly has been here for 3 seasons. Move on.

Why not? Kelly was blasted in major
bowl games at Notre Dame (NC, Fiesta Bowl, his two Playoff appearances). His teams, objectively, were outclassed and inferior. They had no business being on the same field as Alabama, Ohio State and Clemson. There was a huge talent gap.

Just watching these past couple of Notre Dame games and you cannot say the same. Even with all of their injuries ESPN has reported on, they’ve amassed some impressive talent. Their defense is very fast and athletic and their running backs are impressive as any.

No.

He couldn't beat Florida with the window still open on a chance to get to the SECCG

Indiana only lost to Ohio State and Notre Dame

Have players that don’t hate him?

I can’t imagine playing for BK, he is the number one a-hole and low vibes coach in division I football
