They have regressed since the season started…
WTH is going on over there
They can’t even do the simple things:
Stop slapping at the ball, stop going for head fakes, stop trying to block every shot
Get in between shooter and goal , jumping straight up and use your body to get rebounds

Have to love TigerDroppings experts that know more than an entire coaching staff that both recruited and coaches these ladies on a daily basis.

They're 18-0 and undefeated bro. You need to calm down

No because it’s women’s basketball. Wake me up when they get to the Final Four.

Yeah someone needs to teach that Morrow girl how to get a rebound. You volunteer.

Morrow is not a center dummy- she is 6 feet tall but plays big for a forward
Maybe my expectations are too big…will matter in the big games vs bigger teams

Perhaps it's because the quality of teams they are now playing since League play started has something to do with it? One of 3 undefeated teams in the country after 18 games & ranters bitch about poor play. Pretty much sure HOF head coach KM knows what to do after watching film & seeing them live in practice & in games.

No you are right. They do not have good post play. Ppl who actually watch them and know basketball can see that when they go up against a team like UCLA or Oklahoma or Texas (in a couple weeks) they're going to struggle. Mack truck hasn't turned out to be what her star ranking is. She's too slow defensively and no offensive post play. Smith is still recovering from injury and dont have the pep in her step yet. Shes also just a "shot blocker" who dont block many shots. And Morrow is too undersized to play with the big girls. Morrow looks good now due to competition but when she have to go up against bigger girls she's going to struggle. Morrow is also a black hole. She sometimes take some of the most head scratching shots. She only passes it if she absolutely have to otherwise she is putting it up by any means necessary. Sometimes she hits those shots. Sometimes she doesnt. The transfer from arkansas is getting back into the flow of things from being off all last year. Shes also supposed to be able to stretch the floor and havent yet. LSU is elite eight due to lack of post play. If they can somehow fix that, they'll be good!

We out rebounded them 45-25. You’re hyper-focused on a couple of players while the rest of the team is cleaning the glass.

This isn't wrong but he's not at all right about calling it a shite show. The men's team is a shite show. The women are flawed but undefeated.

Texas' bigs aren't all that impressive either. Keep this in mind: no team in the country can just walk in and beat us without bringing their A-game. Every one of these teams has its own weaknesses

UCLA can beat LSU.
ND can beat LSU.
Oklahoma can beat LSU but will need their A game.
Texas had the worst performance they've ever had and only lost to USC by 14 or so pts.
USCw can beat LSU if they gel and play their A game.
USCe can beat LSU even in a down year (although I love the matchup vs LSU this year).
Uconn can beat LSU with a healthy Paige.
That's about it. But that's also elite 8...
However, I will say I also believe LSU can beat ANY of these teams too on any given night EXCEPT UCLA. UCLA has it all.. Size, Speed, Defense, Offense, Guard play, Post play, and bench depth.

Yeah. But Pierre lit us for 28 and it seemed like no one could guard her. Now she’s a legit 20/10 player. But there are teams with better that we have to play.
I just felt tonight we looked a little tired. The refs were atrocious. Pulled it out.
And I don’t understand how we play Gilbert still. She obviously does stuff defensively that Kim is not a fan of. But damn she’s so explosive with the ball.

This scares me.
LSU has a stretch coming up with Tenn and their up and down fast break play. And the very next game is Texas at Texas with their sluggish post slow pace.
Those two games will tell me more about LSU than any stretch this season. They're going to be worn down by Tenn (like this game) and then have to turn around and play a top 10 Texas team (instead of this vandy team) with a packed Texas environment.
We will figure out LSU mental toughness then...
I'm more scared of the back to back tenn / Texas than the upcoming USC game.
