OT Lawyers, do I have a case?

I am a travelling medical professional and was terminated from my last contract day before Thanksgiving, no notice.
The company cited 2 incident reports (which happened months before the firing), and "disparaging comments" against the company (which ultimately did me in)
Some background: my clinic director and I didn't exactly get along so when I spoke up about an unpopular decision coming down from corporate she took that opportunity to call the regional director and I was let go the next day.
To make matters worse I asked if I could work for this company at an alternative location and it turns out they also blacklisted me. I found that curious as disparaging comments don't tend to get you blacklisted from an entire company. When I asked why I was banned, I was told that the same clinic director claimed I was so aggressive towards her that she no longer wanted to come to work anymore.
That's completely contradictory when she called me multiple times giving me a heads up as to why she was missing work certain days. Some reasons she missed work include:
- being scratched by a dog on her shoulder (now getting PT for)
- changing her allergy medication
- some days I got no notice and just had to figure it out
My entire work history is contradictory to what she is claiming about me. I've worked with this company multiple times before and different clinics across the country and have never had an issue until I worked with her.
I obviously can't fight the termination, despite what I feel is the justification. However, the blacklisting, and this claim that I was "aggressive" is a complete fabrication and is covering her excessive work absences.
So OT, what would you do?

They have an army of lawyers. You’re not going to find a lawyer to take this case pro bono. Get ready to spend last years salary on legal fees. My advice is move on.

You millenials get fired for being bad at your job and then you try to sue

Are you a male nurse? Nothing wrong with that, just wondering.

Plenty of people get screwed at jobs but not much you can do usually. They are lawyered up and know you can’t afford to fight it. I guess unions are there for a reason for some jobs.

I 100% guarantee the op is a piece of work.

I think there’s something there, OP.

Depends on the company policies regarding professional conduct, progressive discipline etc AND the documentation they did before your term.

Well…what are the details for these incidents? Odd that you just glossed over that as if they don’t matter because they happened “months before.”

I’m not an attorney, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, and I’ll say that you have a case. They may have a good sized firm on retainer, so be prepared to spend plenty $$$…

I have read the OP multiple times now and it's still not making much sense.
You are the traveling nurse, but you talk about the clinic director as if she works for you.

Not eligible for rehire. You don’t f’ed up A-Aron.
Move on to a new company and hope it doesn’t taint you. Good luck.
