I usually pick the movie for Friday family movie night and always try to select a gem from the 80s or 90s. I picked Disorderlies last night. It didn’t hold up well . My 10 year old liked it but my wife said that was the last movie I get to pick.

The language and sexual references in PG movies from the 80s are out of control.

My sister and I recorded that movie on vhs and watched it all of the time. Still think of the line “I like my women like a Cadillac” whenever someone is talking about liking big girls

Woke culture changed a lot of things.

The movie is a prime example of a fun, 80’s comedy. “Turn your brain off & enjoy.”

I loved that movie as a kid, but I can't imagine it would hold up well.

Yes. Bigly.

I watched Ghostbusters with my son (5) recently and had to ffwd the part where Ray gets a damn blowjob from a ghost.

Hell Jaws (no I haven’t let my son watch it ) is PG and there’s full frontal nudity in it (you can see boobs and bush underwater). IIRC Jaws was the reason PG-13 was created.

Its been said on here many times but a lot of these movies will catch you off guard with those comments when you watch them on Netflix or whatever. A lot of us watched these movies on TNT or TBS and those scrubbed versions are what we remember.
