I'm sold. The coach that took over the program that BK left has now won three playoff games. Despite the fact that BK failed to win one playoff game while there, he is clearly the superior coach.

So superior, that I am now lowering my expectations to hoping we can just win an opening game of the season. BK has lost three of those, which also happens to be the same number of wins the inferior coach has in the playoff....in one season. But I need to start ignoring these facts. I promise, I will.

I am fine with another 9-3 season, or 8-4. That is the standard now. Another mid-tier bowl where the winner gets a giant cooked edible object is something I can't wait to witness. How awesome will it be to watch Nuss pick out what flavor of giant pop tart next year to eat, or even better, maybe our coach can get doused with a waterjug full of mayo after beating another bottom tier big 10 team.

Oh the possibilities now.

I also can't wait to hear the next line of smack talk after the inevitable underperformance and lack of promises kept. "Judge me in year 3!". "In year four, I got receipts". What cool, creative slogan can we come up with after the bowl game for year five? "The drive for five is coming!". I like that one already.

From this point forward, nothing but positivity from this poster. I'm done bargaining and have accepted it. I will also defy reality and what my eyes and ears are seeing and hearing when I watch the inferior coach play for a national title. Afterall, we were promised we will be there next year! Based on recent history, patterns, past history, all that jazz, I know what that means and I can't wait!!

I sense your sarcasm, and I agree. I want to fire our head coach every three years if they don’t win a championship. Period. Especially based on what other programs are doing.

That’s the only way we will be successful. BKs arse should be grass immediately.

Notre Dame and LSU don’t have even remotely the same strength of schedule. Stupid take.

While I agree with your sentiment these are not the same playoffs. Effectively freeman has won 1 playoff game of the type BK had available to him and it was against a team that wouldn’t have made the playoffs under BKs years. Or a UGA team with their backup qb. Either way, good for ND but it would only be a step up on BK if they beat Texas or Ohio State in the finals.

You are correct.

It is important to make sure we ignore common opponents this year. It wasn't Brian Kelly's fault he lost another opener to a superior team in USC, while th inferior coach went to their stadium and beat them.

It wasn't Brian Kelly's fault LSU choked a win against Texas A&M after having 10 point lead in the third quarter, with the backup QB coming in and dominating. The inferior coach went to the same field and beat them.

Those were just outliers. BK plays the harder schedule and that's why he couldn't beat a team like aTm or FLA to make the SECCG.

Thank you for making me realize that stupid take. I'm convinced.

Ok. I'm convinced.

So BK, who has NO playoff wins is still superior to a coach that only has "ONE" playoff win under Tigerstark's standards for playoff wins.

You got me. Sold.

Only a borderline retard would compare ND and LSU. Or Bama or Texas or anyone else. Freeman was and is a highly thought of coach. ND is on the same trajectory it was when BK was there.

Did you watch the game? Or games?

I would love for you to compare the two SOS now that Notre Dame has played 3 playoff games.

So true. I have to be reminded to breathe several times a day while my assistant (who also types my rants) wipes drool off my chin.

Agreed. The inferior coach has now won three playoff games in a season there. The superior coach never won a single playoff game while there.

Of course I did, with my TV muted like always. The inferior coach appears to be taking a team that is less talented than LSUs in just about every position except DB and Safety, and has them in the NCG. The superior coach can't win an opening game, make the conference championship game despite a favorable schedule, much less try and win a playoff game.

The superior coach is clearly better. I'm agreeing with you all. Don't see what the problem is.

The old format was Top 4. We can remove Indiana since they were the #8 team. UGA and Penn St were #2 and 4. So I'm not sure how your argument holds up.

I get that ND was the #5 team so in the old format they would have been out, but they aren't out and still had to beat 2 top 4 teams which they just did.

EZE Tiger fan, you okay??? You realize it’s just a game right?

Also, assume you got your way and you fire everyone….who would you like to hire instead? Genuinely curious.

you keep droning on and on about inferior… no one thought Freeman was inferior or superior. Just unproven. This entire board clamored for him to come here as DC. You are just rambling.

I can't imagine what life must be like to have a Notre Dame football win completely break you like this.

To put even more in perspective, LSU football has spent now $30 million on one SECW title while getting blown tf out in the actual conference title game.

That seems like a very poor investment to me.

Lol when I see this response... LSU went 0-2 against common opponents and lost to very bad Florida team. This shouldn't even be an argument for the 2024 season.

Did you get all the sand out of your vagina in that little rant?

You sound soft as shite. If you don't want to support the program and you want to be googly-eyed about Notre Dame's coach, then go be a fan of them. We don't want you.

If you can't objectively look at the trajectory of our program over the past 3 years and see how it is different from the 6-7 nightmare Kelly walked into, then you can't be helped.
