So you mean Freeman is getting the most out of his team? He’s winning with solid defense, run game and disciplined culture??? Woah no way!!!

They did lose to Northern Illinois. Also, nothing in your post has anything to do with the title.

LSU and Brian Kelly would’ve overcome the NIU loss better than Freeman.

If they were in a conference they don’t get in. They played 4 ranked opponents, none in the top 10, and lost at home to a mac team. The only surprising win was at A&M.

I’m responding to the narrative in the title with a different perspective. Freeman is doing special things with the same talent that BK claimed he couldn’t win with. Freeman now has two better wins than BK ever has

what would be your expectation after watching this season unfold to this point if LSU would have hired Freeman as HC and BK would have remained at ND this year?

Kelly deserves cristicam but I saw several ND teams he fielded who could have made the run Freeman just did. They got it done but there is some serious good fortune in the matchups they pulled.
Kelly would have never come to LSU if he could have envisioned NIL and the 12 team playoff.

It doesn’t really matter how good ND is. Everyone is losing their minds. Who cares. It doesn’t mean Kelly is a bad coach. It just means Freeman is a good one.

UGA with no running game and a backup qb. ND beats them with 200 yards of offense.
Penn State’s best win this year was Minnesota. Why are they are a great team? ND needs an all time f up to beat them.
