These teams in the CFP suck. No fire power or real stars on offense. The defenses are solid but still have a lot of mental breakdowns.

2018 Clemson, 2019 LSU, 2020 Alabama, and 2021 Georgia would have destroyed all 12 teams in the CFP this year.

As long as the portal exists, you won’t see teams like this ever again. Teams are no longer able to stack rosters with 4 and 5 stars and retain all that depth. No more rotating in entire position groups of elite players like Georgia did vs LSU on the Dline in 2022.

I think the playing field is level. It’s fun seeing competitive football, I’ll say that.

Seemed like 2019 LSU, Georgia, and Bama title teams were only going to lose to another SEC foe or Clemson.

The three best teams were all on the same side of the bracket.

Okay, will file away in the " no shite" category.

The teams also have little to no continuity.

Multiple guys are “juniors or seniors” but first year with the program

The 2019 LSU o line had a lot of games they played together. Burrow and his receivers had gelled over a year.

Major League Soccer is extremely competitive

The quality is still pure mediocrity compared to elsewhere. Very, very few choose to watch it over those options for a reason

There's no way in hell we're going to look back at this era and say it was better than anything that came before it
