Got pinged to plan a company golf trip.
Under about 5 hours drive from BR.
2 rounds. Supposedly money and access isn’t really an issue.
Any ideals? Not exactly looking for a really small town.
Locations and courses?

Could go to Biloxi and stay at the Beau. Play Fallen Oak and then The Preserve.

Travel to Fairhope and stay at the Grand - they have two courses on property.

RTJ Magnolia Grove in Mobile isn’t a bad ride. Plus there’s two courses

I’m partial cause fallen oak is one of my favorite courses but I agree that you can’t do much better than that within five hours.

The no small towns makes it tough. I’d do Mossy/Waverly or Dancing Rabbit, but both are small towns. Biloxi makes sense, good golf there, plenty of accessible nightlife.

Could also do East Texas and do Tempest/Pine Dunes. Could stay in Shreveport/Longview and/or Tyler.

Agreed. Fantastic. Pair that with Fallen Oak and it’s tough to beat.

Unless something’s changed in the last few years, that place was rife with 6.5hr rounds and I swore I’d never go back.
