What's with the disturbing infatuation with Joe Burrow from LSU fans?

Hey, I get Burrow was the LSU QB when y'all won the natty but your collective dick riding behavior for Burrow is getting very weird.
I can't think of another fan base that has displayed such embarrassing behavior over some Yankee carpetbagging QB who now plays for a northern Yankee NFL team.
I remember when Drew Brees was flying high with the Saints and the vast majority of LSU fans were right there with the team, rabidly supporting the Saints. Are there any Saints fans left?
BTW, what is it now, Who Dey or Who Dat?

Being a fan of burrow makes sense
Saying insane shite like the chiefs want to lose and are worried of the bengals is asinine retarded
We have fully jumped in the asinine retarded pool. I don’t remember Camther fans going that crazy

I dont like Lsu at all but can admit that burrow is a legit QB but the lsutards make it really hard to not root against him. Literally no other fan base does this. Go broncos and dolphins

Burrow said he never played for Ohio State, he was the QB of the best College Team Ever at LSU.
Burrow only threw 39 passes in two years at Ohio State before transferring to LSU, where he went on to win a national championship while posting one of the best statistical campaigns in NCAA history.
"I got a lot better from practicing at Ohio State, but I didn't get to play," Burrow said. "So I don't really say that I played. I got to live the backup quarterback lifestyle back then, and that was fun. I got that out of my system, and then I was able to lock in."

See above for my claims their behavior is getting very weird.
If Pickens catches a couple of those dropped passes last night the Bengals probably lose to Pittsburgh.

LSU fans have always been this way.
I remember some big RB of theirs finally having a good run late in a season and they acted like this guy was going to be Derrick Henry.

2011–2019 was a very dark period for lsu fans. We lost the national championship to Alabama, then proceeded to lose to them every year for 8 straight years. Every single year the game would be the most hyped game of the year by fans and by the media, always for lsu to lose to Alabama and their former coach, Nick Saban. In the early years the games were competitive, then Bama crushed lsu in the back half of the 8 years. It built a seething hatred for the crimson tide, along with a hopelessness for lsu fans that we would never beat them again as long as Nick Saban was the head coach.
Enter Joe fricking Burrow in the year of 2019. He marches LSU into the heart of the beast that’s haunted them for the better part of a decade, into crimson territory, against a team with NFL players all over the field, in a top 5 matchup. A game that lsu fans had hopes it would finally be different, but many thought would be another inevitable loss to the tide. And he walked into that stadium and fricking won. He ended 8 years of misery on their own field, did something we didn’t think was possible anymore. Then proceeded to win a national championship with the greatest team college football has ever seen.
So yeah. We’re going to treat him as a football god for as long as the motherfricker is still in the league

The saints are garbage right now and the Bengals have Burrow, Chase, York, and even Cody Ford is from Louisiana. It’s not that hard to understand.
