Overlooking food plots through a big clearing.

No luck yesterday but a momma and baby came out toward the end of the evening. Feel like today we put a couple down.

Chilly 37 degrees. Box stand over a food plot. Jumped 2 does walking in and had a yearling walk through already. Hoping a buck gets on one of those does.

My cousin’s grandson that can’t be found for camp workdays, but seems to have plenty time to hunt, has killed 3 big does and a cull, so I’m trying to lay off the mamas with babies. Still hoping for the cowhorn spike I want out of the already shallow gene pool.

Good luck fellas and be safe.

I can see the road from where I'm at and I just saw a couple of crackheads drive by in a convertible with the top down. That can't be fun.

I just saw my 36,865th micro spike of the year. I'm starting to develop a twitch. They are really testing my self control.

I’ve seen a handful of does scurrying around but nothing behind any of them yet.

23 and still. Flurries last night but the bad weather hits tonight.

In a tripod stand overlooking some game trails and a spot where 2 draws come together. One of the most trafficked spots on our property. Had one blow at me 5 minutes after shooting time but never saw it.

Good luck to everyone!

We keep seeing all these little spikes and nubbins but not any does or shooters. Very strange year so far.
