Got my hands on some Monjurno. Have 4 x 5mg pens. Going to use it to jump start my 2025. What are your suggestions for implementation? Yes, I need to lose some lbs. 2nd child was hell on me and soon to start TRT (Thank God). What are your thoughts?

First thing, starting dose is 2.5mg. Starting at 5mg could possibly make you feel like dog shite. Did you get prescribed these?

Other than that, Mounjaro (Tirzepatide) used correctly will absolutely get you to drop the unwanted weight. GLP + TRT has 1000% changed my life. As cliche as it sounds, Use them as tools to change your diet and lifestyle and you’ll knock it out the park.

Resistance train
Gram of protein per goal weight pound
8–10k steps a day
Keep diet simple (Meat, eggs, yogurt, nuts, veggies, fruits)

FYI Monjouro gave me crazy heart burn that I’m still dealing with 7 months after stopping. I also think it may have given me eosinophilic esophagitis. Google it.

I lost 35 lbs and felt weak because it seemed like all my leg muscle was gone. I gained 30 lbs back. I’m just focusing on lifting weights. I have to mostly eat carnivore to avoid having heartburn now. I prefer feeling strong and fat than weak and skinny.

Not prescribed. Just want to see what all the hub bub is. Love all the down votes from the H/F board with no responses. I will only be taking what I have on hand with no plans to obtain more. I exercise regularly and eat a high protein diet. Will be more than glad to report back my findings after use.

Starting dose is actually 2.5 and you do that for 4 weeks then jump to the 5s. So you may have some GI side effects and I’d bet nausea will be the worst. Just be aware.

Thanks Doc. I understand. Have a little zofran for the nausea if needed.

so you’re doing this for a month and shutting it down? But why?

Just do the 15s for a month. Full send

Like I said…. I just want to see how it works, what the side effects are and what the efficacy of a GLP-1 is on a baseline healthy male adult. Is the juice worth the squeeze.

Well you’re starting at double the recommended dose so I’d expect more side effects than normal.

No idea why someone would downvote a post talking about unpersrcribed hormone therapy of which the writer has no clue what they’re talking about.

Jose, have you heard if anyone microdosing glp1? I feel like that would be a good way to cut.

He’ll be the one telling people how bad GLPs are and their side effects aren’t worth the trouble.

No I never heard of that. 777 would probably be able to answer that one more than me.

I just hope if he has terrible side effects from not starting at the starting dose, he doesn’t spread false info on this. It’s a great medicine and I’ve seen plenty of patients have success with it.

No brother, I get it. I am willing to take a lick and see what happens. I have been on pub med and “googled” glp-1s. It is prescribed off label all the time. I might use for a week and say the hell with this. It’s not like I’m some maverick saying let’er rip.

And that’s why I asked for your help. I take this seriously and have no intentions whatsoever of spreading false info. I have taken metformin off label with no adverse effects and had an over all positive experience with it. I will be honest and answer all questions. I know you are open to prescribing it off label to patients, this is the reason I asked you about dosing.

What I am saying is the starting dose is too high and you are going to get lots of stomach issues and a month is not long enough

As far as how it works for healthy people, tons of bodybuilders are using it for their cuts. Most using Reta now though as it’s a triple glucagon hormone instead of a double.

You are not doing something crazy as far as healthy person using it but you are being reckless with the dosage and the minimum length

Well, you could've fooled me.

I would like to see you be successful with your mission here, but I think you sound like the kind of person who is headed off for failure/disappointment. There's no harm to be done if you keep that Mounjaro in the fridge for a few more weeks until you get a better plan together for what you are trying to accomplish and how you're going to accomplish that goal. It's no great crime to be ignorant, and you sound like you need to do a lot more studying to orient yourself better around how to use that particular medication.

I say this because your stated plan, as best as I can understand it, is to possibly use, (up to, but not necessarily all of them) 4 x 5mg single dose "kwik-pens" of Mounjaro to see if it works or not? And you already know, or plan to, stop using Mounjaro at that point? No matter if it works well, or not? You have Zofran to deal with the nausea, but what about the other possible side effects? I have so many questions, but you didn't ask me. I guess I'm just gonna add myself the peanut gallery and see how this goes for ya. But seriously, please pause for a few weeks and get a better plan together before starting, you could save yourself a lot of potential trouble.
