I miss knowing that I could browse CD's and LPs in record stores. Nevermind asking since the stoners had no idea what you're saying.
I liked knowing I could go into suncoast and find a dvd I wanted.
I miss going to Ritz knowing I could find what I wanted.
I miss Sears and being able to find something in the tool dept.
What I DON'T miss is trying to hit the record store and getting Dems from the south side with yard wide asses.

I miss when malls were made for shopping, not daycare for hoodrats.

Miss the hell out of malls, especially during the holidays.

I miss the nostalgia of them. Nothing like hanging out the arcade, record store and food court as a teenager in the early-mid 1980's.

In their 80s form. Not their current form.

I go to the Galleria a couple times a year and it still kind of has that feel. Always crowded.

The arcades once upon a time were bad arse.

There's still an old-school mall not far from where I grew up in PA that I really enjoy going to when I visit. Has the fountains where people throw in coins, etc.

I really do miss them. Especially Esplanade. Hammond Square was a retro gem in its time.
Still enjoy Lakeside frequently but it’s very basic and often crowded.

I miss them like I miss the idea of contracting the clap.
Or…..opps.

It works okay for some things. Buying headphones is a gamble since there is nowhere to try them out.
And buying toys was a pain since the crap on line was often just crap. Toys R Us was far better.

I have some good memories at the old Hammond Square Mall, but growing up that’s the only mall I knew.

Miss them from when I was a kid. Not a fan of going to them nowadays unless it’s a big mall with good stores. Most local malls have been run down.

Now that’s a place I wish I could take my kids back in time to. A department store devoted to just toys.

And the stores were very cool looking inside.
