How long are both parts?

I’m not a big fan of podcasts where I just listen to someone talk for hours. But AtG could be an interesting one I think.

likely a good 5 hours each. I don't remember how long the first one was exactly, but they're all about 5 hours each

ETA: This one is actually only 4 hours, almost a blitz episode for old Carlin

Damn. Not sure I want to put that much time into someone talking nonstop. I wish I liked podcasts more, I just can’t get into them at all really.

Podcasts are a symptom of our cultural death in the west

Used to be you could turn on your radio and have half good new music and half some local funny racist guy but now all music sucks and being funny is illegal so we have podcasts

Just think of this particular podcast as an audiobook.

I’m finishing up Genghis Kahn series right now. Been making drive to and from work tolerable.

Dan Carlin is a unique (and enjoyable) talent.

Depends on what it is. History is something I’d be more likely to check out. But listening to people talk and talk isn’t very entertaining to me.

More entertaining than your endless drivel though, I suppose.

Death Throes of the Republic may be the best podcast series of Carlin, butt it's LONG. He did his standard 1.5 hour episodes for 5 and then put out the final episode that's 5.5 hours

Fall of Civilizations just did one on the Mongols that's really good, too
