Saw the Tejas Tour. It was special.
Stage shaped like the state of Texas. Steer and snakes on stage. Yuccas and cactus on stage.
Absolutely loved it and one of my highlight concerts.

They had a live buffalo and rattlesnake loose on stage for the Worldwide Texas Tour. A whole lot of noise for a 3 piece band!

Not many groups can pull it off as a 3 piece band.

ZZ Top, Rush, Cream & ELP were a few exceptions.

Anything pre-Eliminator is essential ZZ Top.

Nasty Dogs and Funky Kings will kick the dust outta your britches. Killer tune and not played to death on the radio.

One of my first concerts was ZZ Top at the Warehouse in 1974. Saw them often in the Tres Hombres/Fandango era and then later when they started the big shows.

It is great, and instantly recognizable. Kind of like how you can instantly recognize David Gilmour's or Mark Knophler's tone.

So many great tunes from that Little Ol Band From Texas. This is one of my favorites.
